Willow is Google’s superconducting quantum chip, fabricated in the company’s own Santa Barbara facility (Google). It enters the corpus when Google opened early access and pulled its quantum timeline in, and joins the recursive-self-improvement cluster when it starts learning from its own errors mid-run, the substrate correcting itself during the computation rather than being redesigned between generations.
