Anysphere is the applied-research lab that builds the Cursor AI code editor (site); the corpus files Cursor’s own results under Cursor, including the finding that coding agents scale best as planners and workers and the autonomous solution of First Proof’s Problem Six. Under its corporate name it appears once, as the exit: after SpaceX’s post-IPO surge carried it past Amazon and briefly Microsoft, the rocket company bought Anysphere for $60 billion, the largest startup buyout ever, in the same issue in which Cursor answered GLM-5.2 with a 1.5-trillion-parameter model trained on 100,000 GPUs.
