Recursive Superintelligence was founded by former research team leaders from OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Meta AI, Salesforce AI and Uber AI on the bet that the fastest path to superintelligence is AI that recursively improves itself through open-ended algorithms (launch post). In this corpus it appears once, at its emergence from stealth, the first company in the recursive-self-improvement cluster funded at scale specifically to close the loop; the Discovery Loop founding in August is its nearest peer.
