Deploying Maze's COMPASS Platform on AWS
At the AWS Healthcare & Life Sciences Virtual Symposium 2021, I presented how Maze Therapeutics translates genetic insight into medicines — finding naturally occurring variants that protect people from disease — and the cloud architecture that makes it possible. Maze’s COMPASS platform integrates human genetic data, data science, and functional genomics to discover and validate drug targets, and we stood it up on AWS in days using reference blueprints and open datasets.
The talk focused on the hard part: seamlessly integrating diverse proprietary and external datasets into drug-discovery workflows, and giving scientists accessible, semantically-structured analytics environments to work in.
