Meaningful Metadata at Scale: Removing Barriers to Precision Medicine Research
At Neuroinformatics 2018 in Montréal, I made the case for better data management in precision-medicine research — using Alzheimer’s anti-amyloid trials as a motivating example of how much rides on trustworthy, integrable data.
The core of the talk was GREX, a system to record, track, store, find, and retrieve computational results (including data) in a FAIR — Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable — manner, so researchers can discover, trust, and share exploratory analyses across collaborative studies.
